Adding foam to ocean shader?

I found and printed out the Ocean tutorial in the Maya documentation. But, I was wondering if anyone knows how to add foam to the ocean waves.

OK, in the docs it indicates that Wave Peaking controls the sizes of the "crest" of the waves; which to me means the sharpness of the "edge" at the top of the wave. But, it also controls foam?
