Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

you would probably need to export the scene/model to an obj file - maya can import those types of files - not sure if that includes textures tho

cheers

I would recommend using Kaydara's FBX format. You can export as an FBX file, then import it into the destination program. Object names, texture paths, animation, etc, are all retained in the transfer. Max already has the FBX plugin installed. You can download one for Maya from Kaydara's website (www.kaydara.com).

You have to convert NURBS to POLYS in either format
before exporting
