[q] policy on posting links to other cg sites

I found a very nice free box modelling tutorial on another site and wanted to give the link here but I don't know what the policy is regarding providing links to other sites. It is a general computer graphics site not a competitor (The site has no "pay for" content I mean).

Would it be okay for me to post the link? I think it would be helpful to the community as a whole.

hey Rick wzp.. if you look carefully down the forum, you'll see that there is a lack of interests wether it is or isn't a policy against pasting links on the forum... everybody just paste them...good to know that you are wondering and maybe some of the mods can tell his point of view or redirect to the policy of sm...

but hey....you can allways pm it to me :p

As long as it is not of the video tutorial kind and only a html one, and as long as the site in question hasnt been one of those that have deleted sm posts then I will allow it this once user added image

but as a rule ... no we dont allow tutorial links to clutter up our site.
