twisted surface

ok. i have created a convex shape and would like to loft this shapes curve to a different shaped curve. The loft goes ok but its twisted in the mddle. I can use the manipulator tool but it seems to just flatten the loft in the middle when it untwists ituser added image

Check the direction of your curves. If one curves goes a differnt direction to the other, and then you loft you will end up with a twist. Just select one of the curves and go to edit curves, reverse curve direction. That should fix it.
There's nothing normal about normals. In FACT i think the are abnormal.
