Oh my god did you use Jennifer Aniston's giant face as a reference? The proportions look good except for the dome.

Hey Guys

NoAnswer; Thanks, as for the neck thing, its just a case of it all being a WiP, bit of a tickle here and there soon gets it sorted.

Co0KiEmAn; I have no idea what you are on about dude, have you got the right thread??

J,

I was referring to that low-res character on page 2. The proportions of the head don't match the body. But I was saying the rest of the body looked pretty good.

Oooohhh!! Well its just a rough right now, as I was asking Mike about poly counts on lo res figures as I tend to do high res most of the time. So its all a bit new to me the game side of modelling. I'm pretty sure the proportions will be fine once its done though, so no worries on there.

Later Dude

Hey Dudes

Heres an update on the Dawg. Didn't get it finished when I wanted. Been testing PFX for the fur as a Map was not good enough with some gradient displacement. So I am going this route. The PFX is gonna be in groups ie; Body, legs, head etc so it will be easier to control thickness and length in different areas on the body. So far so good...

Hi Guys
twice in one day....

Well been doing dog fur most of the day, and studying a ton of reference too. I have now got the main body fur going in the right directions now, you can see the differences between the 2 'fur' images now.

Bit of advice if anyone does go the Paint FX way with stuff, Do the strokes in sections as I've done with this and group the strokes, as on here I now have UpperBackG, LowerLeftSideG etc. It makes a hell of a difference when editing the PFX you know exactly where to look. Also have Painted it according to the surface flow so it all follows anatomically, that cuts alot of crap out too!! Although I have still adjusted various settings to get the right look. Enjoy
