This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I just came back on these boards too.. nice to see you modelling. Looks like you've improved too! This model is looking great. The definition under the eyes was cool but it looks like its way too sharp from the render you posted. Sorry to hear you lost it all though user added image

Thankx..yeah I know but am geting back at it..
I also heard that maya 6.5 is gona be out soon.christ i barely got through6.
oh and I also heard that EA is going to be making a game called the godfather so am assuming someone is modeling brando to.hah

i dunoo which one was better, but i was told not to put too much expressions on the face.that should be done with deformers for animation so basic face..
i think i lost him a bit ..hmm ill keep working

Hey, what style are you doing to model this? Box modeling? Nurbs? Superb user added image. Also, i don't know why but the expression in the face still looks sharp (the 2 lines by the nose).. might just be that particular render though

the lips are a little off, and the ears need more volume.
the proportions look very accurate.
