Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

The only real crit I would have is the intake fan is too large...

Its only a personal thing, other may disagree, but that's cool.

Other than that I think you have done superbly.

ok, i added the arms into the render, thinking of adding a chrome shader onto the arms, to make it look a bit cooler..

Very nice. I like the arms modeling, but can you change the color on them? The white/gray for some reason just makes them look a little off from the rest of the model. But besides that, nice color scheme!

i agree, i made the shader chrome now, i will post it soon, i havent rendered it yet, for the final post, i will post this on the higest quality that of i can.. but for now, low quality, but still good enuff to be pleased withuser added image

Yeah the arms complete the robot. A different, more suitable color would fit here, maybe the acid green from the wires, or some sort of dark color.
Other than that, it looks just amazing, one of the best I've seen in the challenge atm user added image.

tried my chrome shader by addin the tecnique with hdri..not sure if im gonna use this though, oh and also, that blue color on the claw, was jus to play around, its gonna go back to silver

when i rendered this chrome shader with the body also, i was kind of amazeduser added image i didnt know it would come out so realistic and all..

ok, i rendered the left side of the bot, i occured some problems, but they are easy to be fixed, so after i fix them ill show this position of the bot so u can compare their diff. and then im gonna have a little detail on a dome for the bot to be in, and then if time opens up for me, ill animate this baby!
