Default Randy the bird

I got bored on a saturday night and this just came out. My textures are still very under par I just got out of that class. one month isnt enought time to fully learn the art of texturing. Do you guys have any hints on feathers? I just cant seem to find a good way to make them.

Any feedback would be great TIA!
