Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

The only real thing going on the nose is that the section of cartilage that divides the two nostriles needs to be parallel w/ the ground and curve gently up into the tip. The underside of the nostrils at their widest point also need to be level w/ this line.

The distance between the underside of the nose where it meets the face and the upper lip seem about right---so rather than raising that edge up, IMO, I think it would be best to bring the outer part of the nose down.

Also....just putting this out here, but it seems to me that the top of the head is a bit off as well. Someone who's more of an expert on this should probably address it though since I'm not quite sure what seems off about it.

hey lookin good, i hope u dont mind constructive criticism, i think that you need to give him some more cheeks user added image they go inwards too much below his eyes, his noes bridge should be higher up i think and make the sides curve down slightly slower to give a smoother look, other than that its lookin prety cool! good job!

btw are you using any reference images?

Good first attempt. Now try it with some references and you'll see where some of anatomical errors are.

If vincent vangough used mayh this is the type of head he'd model... reminds me of stary stary night.

matt4068 -- > okey, i will ty that.. heres the wire from the previus,

im not using any reference, thats perhaps why its a little off.

Oh, one more thing. Criticism is the best way to improve a model i think. thx!
