Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Maya File Converter

Are there are any files that convert Maya ".mp" files? I tried downloading the "mayaFileconverter.exe" from Highend3d and, not only did it not open on my computer, but it also only converts ASCII and .mb (maya binary) files. Where can I get one that does .mp? Any help would be appreciated. user added image

I think this is intentional... so that the PLE can't be used for professional work... just a thought.

That's quite unfortunate. I just recently purchased Maya 6.5 Unlimited and I have some files in PLE that need to be converted and finished for various reasons.
