Trying the method using the displacement, before giving up and back to split polygons.

I´m going to try the knuckles and skin folds in the fingers.

wow nice hand, this wasn't done in zbrush! Nice work dude keep it up- 1day to go user added image. 1/2 a day if your in nz

why are you spending that much time on the hand detail, if they are not going to be seen up close?

The hand was box-modeled in maya. Later, I´ve brought it as an .obj in zbrush to paint the displacement.
I was going to do the wrinkles in maya, spliting polygons, but time was a big issue.

Ironically, in my final entry I was in such a hurry, that I didn´t use any displacements. I ended up smoothing the poly meshes with subdivisions in level 3 and then I sculpted the drappery (with sculpt polygon tool) by hand, with my machine almost crashing without RAM.

If someone don´t believe on it, I can send the models of the nazy and his victim. I´ll see if I can post them here later.
