shaking camera

how do u shake a camera for a short amount of time in the timeline.

this is for showing hte power of an earthquake or soemthing

Since that type of thing tends to be quick, you could just keyframe it.

Or you could apply a rand() expression to the Y translation of the camera.

Im a fan of just keying that sort of thing, but maybe someone else in the Mel section would have a beeter way for you to apply this.

You could do it in post, or just add noise to the cameras trans/rotation attributes.
