This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Nice start to the model user added image

Only thing I'd say though is to move the arms so they are horizontal so its easier to rig (I found that out in the last competition).

it may be easier but it can cause problems when animated, I model my characters in the classic T position, then rotate them into the relaxed position.

looking good jramauri, looks clean.

Thanks for advices, guys. I have no much experience in 3D, in fact I'm just learning how to model only. I have some experience in animation, but only in 2d traditional approach. But, I´ll follow with the model, to see how far can I go. Here's the progress I did today. I converted Michelle to SubD, to model more easily. I see tons of people that hate working with SubDs, but I love them.

Now, a preview of final appearence. I was affraid fails in modeling would highlight too much, but with this "dulll" material, They disappear a little. I hope...

A render of her face. Looks strange to me, don't know why. If someone could identify why it happening here, please give me a post.

Modeling finished. She looks reasonable to me by now. Maybe I could improve some parts later, but now I'd like to go into ZBrush, and have some fun, doing the displacement map!

Now I start working in Zbrush, to do details Maya doesn't allow. Man, it's much easier modeling in Zbrush, don't you think?

Yes, ShadowKing, I agree with you. Unfortunatelly, this is the kind of thing I'll learn only with experience. Much experience. But as I said before, I'll improve her body more later. So, if you guys have more comments to do, feel free to do. I'm relatively new in modeling, and I apreciate advices from experienced people with pleasure.

Excellent work on the body in zbrush user added image

Post a side view of the face as I think the chin juts out and the eyes are too small and sunken under the eyebrows. Either that or the forehead is too prominent - can't quite make it out from the angles.
