Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Wow! She looks great. Those panties are pretty skimpy though!

The hair looks awesome!

You need a good SSS shader on her with a good texture map. And of course a render of her in MR.

She's looking a lot more realistic now with the extra touches and the texturing starting to be added user added image
The only thing that still pops out at me is the depth of her chin, it looks a little long for a hot super babe.
Good luck with the skin texturing, if you find any good tutorials then let us know user added image

Thanks for comments. I realized though, I need to rework her face a little more, since it's looking longer than should be. And the hands aren't satisfactory yet. I will do some hands sketches to help me fixing what's wrong.

Dave: Thanks a lot. Her pants are not so skimpy! Here in my country, you see girls with bikinis so small or more in every beach you go. So, I thinks her clothes aren't so bad...

Joopson: I think I've gone as far as I could

THX1138: What's a SSS shader? You mean Skin shader? I have a little idea in how to make one, but problably I will do a Google search before I try. Using MR will be a little difficult, since my model has some triangles in the ears, and MR gives me a error message about this, when I try to render using it. If you know some changes of configuration I could make to overcome this, please let me know. But I think Maya's Renderer it's not so bad.

t1ck135: thanks. Her face is better, but in fact it is not finished yet. I've been thinking in make a new head from scratch... But I don't know if it's a good idea, since her face it's not so bad, and time it's not so big by now...

Hey Jramauri

I wasn't tring to be critical of her pants (or lack of). I guess I shoulda put one of these: user added image next to my comment.

As for the triangle issue, Lisa Gonzales posted a cool way around the mental ray sub-d non-quad problem here:

I've never tried it but it looks like an fantastic work-around

I'd definately keep with the head - as you say the length could be tweaked just a little and it'll be there user added image

SSS is a skin shader. I would really like to see it used here more often. For your MR triangle problem, simply delete the edges forming a triange and turn it into a quad. I have some triangles on my challenge entry I will be turning into quads.

Thanks for tips, buddies. Both shaders you suggested are great. But I have one problem yet: I fixed the triangles in my model, and now she appears in MR render. But MR doesn't render PFX strokes. So, I have a problem in her hair now. If I convert it to polygons, to use MR, I'll have a obscene amount of polygons in my scene... Do you have any suggestion about this? Unfortunatelly, my knowledge in MR is quite poor...

Yeah, thats the only thing MR cant do. Thats a real dissipointment. I hope the people behind MR fix that some day. There are work arounds. Your going to have to texture poly strips for the hair. I have seen it done many times, and it looks great. They will render in MR.

Face and hands are taking me crazy!!! I'm tired to try fixing them, but I can't stop! I redone the hand, but without small details, like nails. Here are some sketches I made to understand hands basic structure and some comparisons between older and newer versions.
