Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Normals mapping

Can someone give me a link to a good tutorial on bump mapping or normal mapping... and maybe a good tutorial on the UV mapping/edito. I only know how to apply basic textures to a model and I would like to learn how to put more detail into it.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your time... but I still am a little sketchy on bump mapping so if anyone had a good tutorial on bump mapping, I would appreciate that a lot.

Ummm.... Explainging it would be nice. But just in case I still don't understand completely, a Tutorial link would be a bad Idea.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it and I'm glad that someone has taken the time to help me out.

PS: Is there any way to boolean difference a nonmanifold geometry with a cylinder?
