and another user added image

one short question if anyone knows, i am modelling this in polys and turning into Sub-D but when i want to seperate polygons from from others such as the door it wont let me. it says that it is all part of one piece. anyone know how to change it or what is wrong?

You first have to select the faces you want to separate and choose Extract and then choose the entire thing and use Separate.

Model looks good btwuser added image

Extract is under the "Edit Polygons"-menu, close to the bottom. Just follow my steps after that and you'll be fine.

that is a really cool little car user added image
it'd be great to see it driving around in an animation, maybe with a little cute driver inside.
