I have a 3dmax 5 file, however I don't the program. Can anyone export to 3ds so I can open it on Maya?

This file show how thw author used the lights to fake real life.

I didn't know that but 3ds doesn't export lights right.

I was reading about the 3ds importer for maya, and I realized that it doesn't import lights. So 3ds exports lights, maya plugin that can't import it.
