Good progress Mr.terminator on your snake.user added image My only comment would be that the snake looks a little more like a mythical sea creature and less like a common snake, but that could turn out to be a very good thing for you, hint, hint.

If your really wanting it to look more like a common snake, I reccomend doing a google search at snake anatomy.

Here is a wip for a snake I did for a past SM challenge. Feel free to use it as a refference if you need to.

You're right, it looks more like a sea creature. Anyway I wasn't really sure what it should be, I just tried to model something like a snake. I think I'll try to make it look more like a sea creature user added image

Hey, that looks cool mate, but if you put the teeth like that it will bite it's self. They have to stick out. In the real world when snakes mouth are closed the teeth are at 0 degrees (in line with the upper jaw) but when mouth are fully open they are about 130 degres and they stick out.user added image And the body, needs to be smooth. Later you can add details by putting a displacement of snake skin and converting it to polys.

well it IS your monster, he can work however you want him to... but some snakes' fangs usually fold in (erectile fangs), although the geometry would look a little different in that case. a google search would help there.

Accept no substitutions.

Actually I planned to continue working on my mod. Because many people are waiting for it, and I didn't work on it since I entered the challenge. But maybe I'll texture it user added image

hey mr terminator - your snake is looking really cool - i like the new pointed bits running down his back. (do snakes have backs? :p )

I think this is coming along great - are you planning on putting your elf character standing on the rock?

Sorry I didn't comment on this sooner - keep up the good work! user added image
