Hi guys,
This is my first thing im making in maya so dont gudge me to harshly, tho every critisism is appreciated.

Yes indeed yet another austin MINI. But still this one is special ^^.
Look for yourself.

Problem: Look at images 3 and 4. The noice on the shader is aufful... Any one know what has caused this??
Another cuestion, As you might have noticed the mini has wings. Well I also want it to fly. For it to be realistic i want to make a smoke trail following the mini. What is the best technique to do this? Can i make a curve and generate smoke particles or something like that?

And if anyone has any tips for making realistic metal shaders dont hasitate to give them user added image).

Thanks, Raz

what kind of shadows are you using? if they're depth map then there's the possibility that your image is self-shadowing. you could try enabling mid dist focus in the depth map shadow area of the attribute editor for your light.
