This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

boolean opposites

hello. I am using booleans on quite complex geometrys. basically, when I attempt ro subtract A from B, I am left with only the little bits of A that should have been cut out of B, and not a subtracted shape of A or B. Anyone know why this is? Rach. :headbang:

If you post up pictures it would be easier to see your problem, I'm not too sure what you mean.

ops

i meant to. i think it ididn't load! Its okay neway, i have mangaged to sort it out. If anyone else finds this and has the same prob, u need to reverse the normals.
