Forgot to mention that the hands are not going to have any crazy detailing in case you wondering. I'm just focusing on the topology since this is just a mech and not a real human.

great progress so far THX1138 user added image
definitely a labour of love (careful) hehe. I can see a couple of areas where the mesh needs tidying a little (upper thigh) and where it could be optimised a little (lots of loops around the bicep area) but overall you've definitely nailed the 'bob' element (body of baywatch - but without the excessively large breasts) user added image
keep it up

Thanks for the crit and comments tick135! user added image yeah, I have alot of tidying up on the mesh to do. Got to finnish off some of those loops and add more. I will go over that after the basic body is complete. Glad you liked the boobs, I worked hard on them. :p

This is coming along really nicely. I find it really hard to model people but you've done it great. user added image
once the challenge is over are we going to see her textured?

Cheers Some Guy. user added image The modeling is not hard if you have good refferences. It's just a time consuming task. Also, good knowledge of human anatomy really helps out to. Thats the one thing that I see people make so many mistakes on. I have spent about 3 years studying body meshes and real body anatomy, and I have quite a few meshes, and nudes saved on my hard drive for refference. I'm still no expert by any means on body anatomy, but this challenge has really helped me out alot.

This model will be textured and rigged and posed after the challenge is over. I wont have the time to do it by deadline.

Thanks again for the kind words. user added image

Update.

Got some good progress done on the feet. Positioning them under the model gave me a chance to check the topology even further. I also slimmed down the legs, glutes, and hips a little to better fit the body type. So now I need to finnish the feet and build the head. I hope to have that done within the next day or so. After everything is built, I go over the whole Body and finnish off the other main body parts ( like the stomach and neck region ) and clean up and 3 sided poly's that have gone unnoticed. Then it's on to the Robot and steampunk theme.
