Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Tutorial About Creating Landscape

Hey Everyone,

It's been a while but I want to try and get back into Maya since I love the potential that this program can do.

My problem is that I'm having trouble learning how to do the things that I want to use this for. For example, I want to create a realistic landscape (like a forest with trees, grass, dirt, etc) and I cannot seem to be able to do this well at all.

I was hoping that someone either had a tutorial on how do to this or wouldn't mind sharing a project that has some basics that I can learn from/off of.

I have Maya 5.0.

thanks.

I don't know of any tutorial on creating a landscape within maya nor have I tried it but there are 'landscape generating' softwares out there though that you could use and then just import the scene into maya.

One of them is Vue

Here's a PLE of it https://www.e-onsoftware.com/.
