HavokMK2 Concept Car

This is a car ive been fooling around with while bored. I designed it and this is the second version hence the Mk2. I call it the Havok. I tried to set up the scene as an afterthought to make it look like a toy car display.

Wow, thats shinny :eeek2:

I don't like the Gold as a color for this car, maybe a Silver, or dark blue.

The modeling looks pretty solid.

Nice work.

I haven't had chance to work on my Camaro today. I've been busy, busy, busy... with school, and but load of home work.

So hopefully i'll get a chance to tomorow.

Have fun user added image

i wasnt a huge fan of the gold either, but im color blind so i had my brother pick out the color. I guess he likes gold.

I would normally go with a black but it hides too many details

It looks really good (except the color blegh!!) i like the kinda mix between sports and muscle good job just try a couple of diff colors i think it would look good in silver or even possibly white if you put on some black details (Stripes or logos or something)..

I would also tighten up the wheel arches to hug the wheel a bit more, it just seems out of place imo.

ill try changing the colors around. but i have trouble seeing some different shades so ill wing it.

I was trying for a muscular like sports car so thanks, And your right about the wheel wells. This version of the car i consider done and i will start the 3rd version soon. With every version i hope to streamline the modeling time and increase the style/look of the car while adding more details. The next edition will have a slightly different profile, a little shorter overall with about the same wheelbase and width. And im toying with the idea of making it a convertible but ive already sketched out another car i plan to have as a convertible im called the "Midnight". But might be good practice as i would have to design the interior.

Ill render a different color, and may try playing with the lighting(im using default right now as ive rarely ried lighting) and throw up another screen tonight. Thanks for the replies everyone.
