i like both ideas - i could see them sitting there roasting marshmellows together... dragon just breathes a little fire... they get totally charred tho and the dragon gets pissed off

working a little on my skin shader - i'm going to give him some brows and a little beard and then a helmet and then i guess it's time to wire this thing up and see if he can walk and talk...

thanks tariqf and brian_ellebracht - the hair is paint effects eyebrows on a NURBS surface and the skin is a procedural shader of my own making with color node as marble and then granite as the vein color that is very close to the main color and a leather bump map...

well, moving is going slow... i've rigged the body and am starting to do some set driven key animations with the hands - the fists to start - the face is going to take some work to get it moving. the cloth is a pain - i tried to get the belt to be cloth constrained to the chain mail and the not so lovely results are what you see here. i think i'll get better results if I do a nurbs object and keyframe it.
