Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

I played just a few but the design of the mechanical parts is very similar to what I've seen so far.

Besides, you've got that "Money grabbing son of a *****" in FFVII which is fat and can be considered as half man, half mech. That's just one example... I'm pretty sure there are a lot more.

about the last render:
The area near the lamp is washed out and it's too dark overall. Did you use FG in it? It could use a lot of work in either case...
I liked the bricks though

I like the face but the area where the arms meet the torso dont seem to fit right, maybe ease the ridge out so its smoother as it jumps out as being a bit strange.

Also with all the detialing level that you've put in there, it could do with at touch of detialing where the mech spine meets the back to give it a look of coming out (or going in) the torso as it looks like its just sitting there at the moment with no definition.

Other than that it looks really good.

hey thanks man. Im currently working on an animation with the Gluttony and Envy project. Its a composting project... also have my thesis im working on and another small animation similier to tim burtons art style. Got alot on my plate =D

here is a small WIP that i have been tinkering with over the past 3 days. Its a alien head bust. need some crits please. testing sss out. the texture is not final and the head is not posed yet. eyes are missing. crits please =)

Is it alive? I ask because the texture at the moment makes it look like a stone statue and the backdrop on this presentation is a bit more distracting that the previous, especially with him or it :x being off to the side. I like the sculpt work user added image
