how can i create a circlular poligon split around my polygon object? there is no such tool in my upper icon tab so there must be a hotkey command or a menu direction to this option.
select the edge perpendicular to the direction of the desired edge loop. then hold ctrl and make a "<" movement with your mouse.

use the edit mesh>insert edge loop tool
