URGENT Animation/Rigging HELP Needed

I have this rigged character who I have animated 8 key frames on and everything was working fine. I moved on to some modeling and lighting activity and when I checked back on my animation I find that the mesh has somehow disconnected from the controls. Please help fix.

are you saying you continued modelling after you rigged it?

did you soft skin or parent stuff to skeletons? or did you just key transformations? how did you animate it?

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"
