rendering an animation

I'm just learning how to render out an animation instead of stills.

Is there a way to see the frames being built while MAYA is batch rendering?

When I batch render now, it just does it....though I do see some text scrolling in the textbox at the lower right corner.

Just curious....

no/yes

you can't see it being built up like you would in the render preview

but you can navigate to the folder and watch the pictures appear when they are done

open up the script editor and you'll see in text the progress of the batch render so you can see the progress, but as text

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
