Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

My Dream Office Challenge - Anasasis

Been a long long time since I was here but thinking I will
give this challenge a go. So what im thinking is recreating a victorian era style study,

I would love to have an office with floor to ceiling books, etc. etc. spetember 26???
i should have enough time to finish it.... hopefully

Good to have you in the comp. That sounds like a nightmare office to me...I HATE READING. Although if it was picture books, i might like that haha. Sounds like a great concept and hope you have time to complete it.

So I finally had a chance to start last night and
this is where i got to. Im hoping to start a main desk
in the middle today and then the epic book challenge.

so to do list:
-Texture Room
-Chandelier
-Desk
-Chair
-Books
-Light Fittings
-Desk objects (lamp, books, computer)
Then lighting and rendering

The chair for the office completed still needs texturing but im happy with it, ive done a fair
bit more to the rest of the office ill post an upload of that soonish

and the current office and i cam currently crying like a little school girl in the corner of my room thinking about the idea of texturing those books lol

so next on the list:
-finish bottom of the book shelf cabinets
- do something with the flooring
-model lamp for desk
-misc. objects for desk
-start texturing user added image
-light render
-fall over and die
