Maya macros with Logitech G110

Hey, I just got a new keyboard today because my old one was ~8 years old and I wanted a new one. Haha. Anyways, it's the G110 and it's got programmable G-keys for gaming, but I was hoping to use them for maya. Only trouble is that the macros take keyboard input, and they also have a script editor (?). So I'm not sure the best way to get 36 frequently used Maya commands and tools into this keyboard.

The workaround way I was thinking was to assign a bunch of Ctrl-Shift-Alt-letter hotkeys in Maya and assign those to the macro keys. I dunno, I can forsee a couple issues with that. Any thoughts or personal experience?

Thanks!

Backup your hotkeys, I'm sure you know this but maybe in your excitement you'll forget user added image. I don't see how Ctrl+Shift+Alt type hotkeys are going to cause issues unless you don't make a Maya profile.

Haha, "in my excitement" just sounds like "ZOMG!! Hotkeys!!" but thanks for the tip. I only have a few non-default hotkeys, but it's good to do.

You mean a Maya profile for my keyboard? Yeah... I still have to figure this system out.
