This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
I think it would be a great resource particularly for the newb's (like me) to the site for there to be a forum where we could post/find tutorials for using Maya having one location where the tutorials are posted will make it easier to find them much the same way that the resources forum does it will also create a single location for those posts helping to keep things organized which is ALWAYS a bonus
Considering this site is also a vendor of their own tutorials, I don't know that a consolidated library of competitor's tutorials would be appropriate, but then again, I don't own this site so I don't know. The admins have been pretty relaxed about people posting the occasional link to an outside tutorial that helps someone, I think.
From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"
