This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Well, that crimson color of brick. Like...

of course it could just be left white if it doesn't need to be like a normal brick wall, just that there's too much white in that room. O_o

Awesome, but 1st one's light seems kind of unnatural (over the bed) - maybe because the window isn't done / needs a sunny exterior aspect.
Second one looks good, but there's a white object that is probably not textured.
The brick wall looks awesome. But I see some texture stretching bottom corner left. Or is that a glass chair?

its a plastic chair. its refraction.

maybe try adding some DOF you could even do it in maya if you have time to kill. user added image

Well, I never saw transparent chairs, but yeah I thought it might be refraction. Was hard to spot at first and it looked like the texture was stretched.

Some colors are a bit too bright (whereas reality usually is faded most of the time) and the window doesn't seem to match the sunlight that enters the room. Something about the ceiling is awkward but I can't figure out what.

But looks very awesome, even the TV.
