Camera Movement

I'm keyframming the camera movement and it appears to look fine. But then I play back, the camera makes strange movement. Rather then just tilt up and pan left, it appears to spin the camera and do the tilt backwards. Any ideas?

It seems like it has something to do with my pan and tilt motions.
