Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

closestPointonSurface node

Hi there,

I'm trying to follow this tutorial:
https://mayastation.typepad.com/maya-...-dynamics.html
I get stuck at the part where a closestPointonSurface node is created.
I write the mel command and maya obviously creates the node, but I cannot find it either in the Outliner or in the Hypershade.

I'm sorry if the question is a dumb one.

If you right click in the outliner and uncheck "show DAG objects only" you should see it there. Can graph it in the Hypershade.
