Flow path object problem

Hi,

I'm trying to simply create an animation of text rotating. One of the steps is to choose 'flow path object' in Motion Paths. Obviously you select the text first and then the circle. It should create a lattice on the circle but for me it seems to be creating the lattice around the text - picture 1.

Any idea why this might be happening? The guy in the tutorial doesn't seem to do any extra steps than me and his is looking like - picture 2.

Appreciate the help!

When you say motion path, you mean just the circle? If so, I did that, and then I created the text, then attached the text to the circle, then selected both and applied the flow path. When selecting just the object and applying flow path, I get the same result. I guess something must be off with my preferences somewhere?

If you select your object look over to your attribute editor there should be a tab "ffd1" check that the "outside lattice" is set to inside...............dave
