Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

You should check out maya dmm. Might be a easier alternative that is better supported by maya.

I have tried DMM already many times. Check my Bulb explosion from my channel links below. but what make different pulldownit from DMM is its compatibility. DMM not only checks faces but edges and sometime vertices. so If you want to distroy a building then you have to make if DMM way but pulldownit need only pack faces and thats all. Infact I used DMM and pulldownit with this same house project, where pulldownit did it without any problem, DMM flashed error that "geometry not suitable..". I could have make it as DMM wanted but when pulldownit did that already, you DMM.
No doubt DMM is also a very good plugin. Many things can be done with DMM but pulldownit wouldnt.
So yes, I will try DMM too where ever its suitable and convenient.
