Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Time Node Issue

Hello,
Using the time node in the hypershader, when I use the animation slider the time on the node doesn't change. Do I have to do something to link the time node to the animation timer?
Thanks

No, it seems to work okay for me. I've got the node selected and I'm looking at the Out Time attribute in the attribute editor. If I play and stop, or scrub and release, the time updates. What are you looking at that doesn't seem to change?

It is strange, I am looking at the attribute editor and playing/stopping/scrubing does nothing to the Time Out box. I can manually change it but that doesn't do anything.

Edit: I seem to have found the solution. Using the nodes Time2, Time3 and beyond do not seem to have the same functionality as Time1. Thanks for the help.
