Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Move tool with free transform

Hi, I use to be able to use the move tool on a object without touching the xyz arrows but only just clicking the center point and drag the object around in 3d space according to my camera view. But suddenly I can't do that anymore. Should be some kind of function but I can't find it in my move tool settings.

I am not sure if i explain well but i hope to find some answers. Thanks!
