Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

architectural modelling

search for a fundmental learning book for architectural modelling

important to me
1.accurate measurements of objects, units in meters, centi- and millimeters
2.exact connections to other objects
3.snaps to vertexes, lines and objects
4.objects align to objects
5.materials

unimportant to me
1.character modelling
2.animation

i have seen the offers for training books by trinity3d.com
1.Maya 4.5 Fundamentals from Jim Lammers
2.Max to Maya 3 Quickstart

at the moment i want to change from 3dsmax to maya. thank you for some remarks.
