WOW dude well said THANX!!! Yes i tried to remeber the tutorial from my head. I will go play with tesselation now. I never knew you had to adjust that for rendering, it never came up before.

Its getting to be pretty mean yes, but the way you said that made me think it needs a name = )

Crap i wish i could make that pic, well thanx for the sig. Thats the type of reason i did the tutorial. I love making people feel important, plus i'm sure you're not the only one who will see that and benefit from it.

i Added some window armour things, and i hid the snorkel by mistake. My renders take along time with the GI.

looks great!

how did you unwrap that uv? automap?

you might have some luck with those problem areas by selected the faces that share the same plane and planar mapping them.

I found a good tute on it...https://www.eliteops.com/sama/uv_tutorial/

you select the areas you wnt to map..then hide them..then the next... and so on. the result is that you have less moving in the UV window.

Thanx howard, i have actually been planar mapping soo far, and that is the tutorial that tought me how = ) I'm thinking about mapping the vertical faces on the RocketLauncher mount seperately. i gotta spend some more time on it, but it should be cool when i get some mud all over it.
