Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

New question same theme.... can you import lightwave to maya? I love modeling polgygons in lightwave....soooooo easy..... maya????? great NURBS....
just a question... I know I can change geometry with deep3d..(3d exploration I think it was called before)....But if I don't have to buy another program for exporting geometry I would be a very happy camper...

Another option is to use the Filmbox format from Kaydara. The FBX format allows scene conversions from/to most of the major 3D packages. This is what I use to move files between Max and Maya.

Hi,

I use the 'obj' format to import and export seamlessly between Maya, Lightwave and softimage.
