Blaster Worm attacks Microsoft.com

Well, according to info on the worm, it was set to start a DoS attack on August 15th, on Microsoft.com. As of right now (1:31am ) I, as well as four other friends of mine, can't connect to Microsoft.com. Ol' Billy Gates must be shitting his pants right now, eh? user added image

Can anyone else get in to the site?

DDoS will begin tommorrow (16th of august)
So that you can't connect to M$.com has an other reason user added image

I can connect just fine. And the worm DDoS will be launched at the WindowsUpdate servers from M$.

Hmm... just saw that the attack will be agains windowsupdate.com...
And guest... I think M$ shut these servers down user added image

Can't connect, can't ping, can't trace them user added image

DDoS SUCKS! Even DoS...
Just putting a system down, for fun... that sucks...

I've got respect for hackers... (not crackers and scriptkiddies, there's a difference between these 3) They know what they're doing and know a lot about security... And thanks to these guys, systems will get more secure (yes, even windows user added image

). So crackers and scriptkiddies can't do any harm.

mmh....

1. I can't use this update stuff for the worm because I need a german update...it says that it has the wrong language.

2. I don't care what happens to microsoft as long as everything is ok with my computer and my proggies...

3. birds eat worms....they can't live without them
