Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Missing Members

What i don't get is that SM has over 13,901 members and i'm always seeing "welcome our new member...(insert new member name) on the main page, but i only ever see the same 50 - 60 people post, if that.

There's probably a lot of people that come here and read but don't post. You also have to register if you want to see the image attachments on the forum, so that probably drives people to sign up too.

Nah there´s more.

Thing is, people have lifes, and many move on after the SM experience. user added image
Good thing about it is that, there´s always someone new to greet.

Another thing would be the fact that many register only to download the free vids.

In any case, if there´s people I would like to see around the place, those would be Darkon, BulletProof and Roman. *nostalgia*

I know that I just signed up to see if I could nab some free stuff... I assumed that this was in other respects just like any other forum (impersonal, nasty, etc.) man was I wrong! but I think a lot of people just assume that it is like other sites without actually checking. I have been a member for nearly a year, but only in the last couple of months have I actually been a part of the community.

People do tend to come and go a lot but its all good. I would bet if you're still here in 6 months time it will be a different group of 50 odd people posting by then.

The number of individual members we have had post on this forum is 1232, so around 10% of the total sign-up rate actually bothers to post a message.

Darkon popped in about a month ago and made a few posts. I sent him a PM saying hey as did Kevin I believe. Too bad Maya is only a hobby for him.
