Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

creating xpm files

Hi all,
I have some trouble with xpm files.
Some of the texture plugin modules from alias dont seem to come with their xpm files, which means you dont get a nice picture in the Hypershade window.
Well I trid to create one from the texture file and saved it as BMP/jpeg and named it as xpm but it still wont show up in the hypershade.
Is there a way to create these XPM file types?
cheers.

Well, in your Maya/bin folder, there is a small exe program that can convert xpm's to bitmaps, but for the other way around, I think there is one on Highend?
