making chamfer on edges ?

I discovered the new chamfer vertices function in maya 5 but still exists in MJ poly tools too.
The question I must ask to mayan users is how to make edges chamfer. How can I transform a cube into a dice?

I works on a futuristic scene and sharp edges dislike my GI_Joe lightdome. Then I decided to make a chamfer around my sharp edges. Perhaps this function exist under another name.

please help me.
