Hmmm, I might not have explained myself very well... the picture on the left is how it does render, the picture on the right is how I wanted it to. Basically, I wanted to still have shadows turned on...

OK - so the camera bit for changing the bg colour... but how do I make my render shadowed like that? Do I have to change my surface shader to a Blinn?

Oh and one last simple thing... how can I change the bg colour to something else? Like a gradient blue to look like ocean water?
