wmpnetwk.exe

Hi just hooked up my xbox to the pc and started streaming media. I quickly realized a process called wmpnetwkexe program swallowing up to 1.7gb of ram. I googled but cant seam to get a good fix to this because many people wanted me to swich off the service but I cant stream media without it. Any one got solution to this. I don't understand streaming media can swallow up that much ram

Its ok I solved this I purchased some software called tversity its pretty cool guys should check it out

The Windows XBox Media Service uses a lot of RAM to buffer the data prior to sending it over the LAN/WAN to the XBox who then repeats the process, there are more efficient ways, but hey in Microsoft we are talking about here. user added image
