The Making of Rollercoaster Rabbit offers a rare look at animation production in the 1980s. The eight-minute short was one of Disney’s first projects at their short-lived Orlando studio, which allowed visitors to observe the animation process from an overhead breezeway. In the making of video, the production team discusses effects animation, background and character animation, xeroxing, camera work, editing, and how early applications of computer animation were used to create the coaster tracks and cars in the animated short.
