Modeling heads

To create a head which is the easiest way to get to grips with things, I seen alot of tutorials that use nurbs I am sure that maybe the best way, but arnt pollys easier ? The thing is I am mildy dislexic and I cant follow some tutorials to well, this is why I like this site so much due to the video tutorials.

I personly find polys eazyer, cleaner, and less intensive on your CPU power and not to mention the all mighty RAM. But to each his own..

You can convert the NURBS to Polys after you have it how you want. There is a 1 to 1 setting some how.. but if you ask me.. seeing what you can make out of a cube like mike says is def good expireance if nothing else. He makes great models with them.
