In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

arm weapon

Felt like doing something mechanical with nurbs. It fits over a persons hand, then they can control the machine operations from within. I plan to have straps coming off it that will hold it on place to your back and around the waist. I figure it's good for the gardening seasonuser added image

As I said earlier: Nicely done

One thing I have to say is the belt will act in opposite direction to the cogs so it wouldn't spin.

Good job tho!

oh wow thats right. ill hafta take the belt out. probably extrude a protective shield over the gears to keep the look the belt had. thanks for that fix, hopefully i would have caught it when i started to animate ;]

coldfuel tank

some updates, built a tank to act as a power source and the hose that feeds into the machine. ill probably use particle effects to have a cold mist come out fo the back of the tank and maybe along parts of hte arm that can act as an exhaust. tell me what u thinkuser added image
